Create a post and tell us how this site can be used for readers' advisory purposes, consider: how might customers find EnCompassCulture useful? What would library staff get out of this site? Would you promote EncompassCulture to customers? Why/why not?
Unfortunately I have just gotten around to finishing my Web 2.0 and this site was apparently shut down at the beginning of November due to funding issues.

Is it easy for staff to use? I didn't find it easy to use. I could not get the presentations to start.
Would customers find it simple? I think if you sign up it would be easy, if you had a spare 50 thousand hours and like spending that time reading advertising.
Could we use this in the learn.nets and in our workrooms? If you have to give presentations I suppose. I am comfortable using Power Point, so I would carry on using that.
Do you think that you're likely to use this site again? No
Would you promote this site to customers? No. Customers only get 1 hour acess. I think it would take too long.

What recipe did you choose? I chose to go to the chocolate fudge brownie. Why this particular recipe? Because it looked sooooooo good. Is this site easy to use? Really easy. It would be good to find nz restaurant stuff. Would you ever use it again? Yes. So hard to think of what to keep having for diner. Must be getting close to the change over to summer food soon. Getting a bit hoha. What did you think of this task? Very good, thank you for showing us. I am going to make the brownies this week. Would you prefer that all web 2.0 activities relate directly to libraries and our customers? All learning is good learning. Libraries are not just about books anymore, are they. What did you, personally, get out of TasteSpotting? Tosca was right. Do not look at this site until you are ready to cook. I'm sitting here drooling.

I found this site quite easy to use. I am however getting quite used to using these types of formats. I'm not sure if your average learn net user would even be interested. I'm not sure if I will use this site again. I have to wait and see what emails come through and if I have time to follow the blogs. I did upload Manukau, Wellington and two Auckland Library feeds. I also uploaded Gareth Morgans blog.

I chose this image because it is quite eye catching. I found the site quite easy to use. I think this site would be good to use if it is easily accesible like the way google images is now. Everybody knows to go straight to google images for fast easy images on anything you want. Could be useful for up to date images on Authors, maybe when promoting a book?

Box net.
I think this website could be quite useful. I could imagine the liaison teams could find this site useful when working on projects together. It is not something that I would use personally. I found it very useful to use. I owuld promote this to customers to use if they had no other way of saving their wor on the learn nets.

Okay I have finished, and completed the survey. I have increased my knowledge of the different technologies so that is good. But I have been completely frustrated at times and I felt that I was spending too much time going around in circles wasting rate payers money and getting nowhere. Hence I have spent the last part of the Web 2.0 training completing it at home in my own time.
