Week One: Learning 2.0

What worked for you?
Being a newbie the Website for setting up the blog was easy, and was rushed at the last minute of 4pm Saturday.
What didn't?
Remembering all the different user names and passwords.
What surprised you?

The ease and speed it took to set up, after listening to everyone moan about the first lot of web 2 training.
what amazed you?

What you can now do over the internet, different from the 1980's when you had to type in run to commence your computer., oops I'm showing my age.

How could a library use a blog?
I don't know if it would be like doubling up on the book review webpage on the library website, would customers be able to add coments?

What would customers get out of a library blog?
Being able to post comments, good or bad, freedom of speech sort of thing without the library tweaking.

Would you promote this to customers?
I don't know how well it would work, my son said the only blogs they go onto are friends they already know.
How could you use this in your role?
Another oppourtunity to upskill and help customers with their learn net inquiries.
